DO YOU DELIVER EVERY IMAGE YOU SHOOT?

No we do not.  Our cameras have the ability to shoot multiple images in a matter of seconds, that would be an overwhelming amount of photos that all looked very similar!  Instead, we carefully look over every image shot and choose the best images that capture your amazing day.

WHAT IF I AM GETTING MARRIED AT A VENUE YOU HAVE NOT SHOT BEFORE?

While we have had the privilege to shoot a lot of the venues in Atlanta, we by all means have not shot them all.  If yours is a venue we have not shot before, we are happy to come to a walk through with you to check out the space and identify places around the venue that appeal to you for photos on your wedding day.

HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS ARE INCLUDED IN YOUR PACKAGE?

Our packages include Ryan who is your primary photographer and Jenevieve who acts as an onsite photography coordinator and does second shooting during your ceremony and reception.

WHAT IS YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE?

  • We both come from an entertainment background, so our style is very bright and bold with a rock and roll edge.  We consider ourselves photojournalistic with a healthy sprinkling of curated shots.

MY VENUE IS KNOWN FOR LOW LIGHT, HOW DO YOU HANDLE THAT?

Ryan’s beginnings started over a decade ago shooting nightlife in low lit clubs across Atlanta.  We thrive in low light and also come with an arsenal to light up spaces as needed.

WILL I RECEIVE FULLY EDITED IMAGES?

All images are professionally edited with a loving eye for detail before they are sent to you.

WHAT IF THERE IS A PHOTO I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, BUT I WOULD LIKE IT TO BE TWEAKED A SMIDGE?

Although we think you are gorgeous just the way you are, we understand every now and then there is a photo that you might want to remove a blemish or tighten up a little.  Please let us know and we are happy to apply a little added love on a few of your photos.

HOW MANY HOURS SHOULD WE SET ASIDE FOR WEDDING DAY PHOTOS?

WHAT HAPPENS IF WE GO OVER OUR CONTRACTED AMOUNT OF HOURS?

To help avoid this situation, we will sit down with you before your wedding and review your proposed timeline. If we do run into this situation, additional hours will be assessed and billed following your wedding.

HOW MANY IMAGES CAN I EXPECT TO RECEIVE FROM MY WEDDING DAY?

In most cases you can expect 100 photos per hour of your wedding.  For example, 6 hours of coverage you would receive around 600 photos.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE IMAGES FROM MY WEDDING?

We will send up to 10 fully edited images within 72 hours of your wedding and you will receive the full gallery within 4-6 weeks maximum.

HOW WILL I RECEIVE THE IMAGES FROM MY WEDDING?

You will receive your images two ways, online through a unique URL and a physical USB.  To make it easier for you, your family and your friends to find images the photos will be broken into folders i.e. “pre-wedding” “ceremony” “friends and family”…

WILL I RECEIVE MY IMAGES IN HIGH RESOLUTION?

We do not believe in holding images hostage.  All of your images will be available for download in high resolution as well as in a size format for social sharing.

CAN I USE MY IMAGES ON SOCIAL MEDIA?

Absolutely!  In fact, we encourage it.  Share the love by tagging @GeminiandtheBear in your social sharing.

CAN I PRINT THROUGH YOU?

Of course and we would love for you to.  Printing through us allows us to use a printing company that know and trust and is of the highest quality. We are hands on doing all of the packaging and shipping ourselves.  This allows us to keep an eye on quality control and make sure you are receiving the highest standard of prints. This ain’t no shutter fly!

HOW DO I PRINT THROUGH YOU?

On your photography portal you are able to order prints or print packages with the click of a button.  Please don’t hesitate to call if you have any questions about this process.

ARE MY IMAGES BACKED UP?

Your images will be hosted online by us and backed up on external hard drives for two years following your wedding date.  You will also receive a USB with all of your images.

HOW DO I GET STARTED ON MY WEDDING ALBUM?

Following the delivery of your online URL, you will receive an email with instructions on how to make your album selections.  We will work with you step-by-step from selection to the final album.  No albums are printed without you being sent a digital proof for approval.

DO YOU CARRY LIABILITY INSURANCE?

Yes.  This is just one of the many reasons hiring a professional photography team is a wise decision instead of a friend of a friend or someone you found on Craigslist.

CAN WE MEET IN PERSON?

A resounding YES!  We recommend meeting in person to make sure everyone jives and so we can answer any additional questions you may have as well as show you examples of our work and how your online URL will work.  Beyond just business, we LOVE getting to know our couples leading up to their wedding.  It is one of the best parts of being wedding photographers. Being comfortable with one another allows us to really capture your personalities in a relaxed environment on your wedding day.

HOW DO I SETUP AN APPOINTMENT TO MEET?

WHAT IF WE LIVE OUT OF TOWN OR ARE TOO BUSY TO MEET?

We know it’s not always possible to meet in person, which is why it is great to live in the age of technology!  We are happy to set up a FaceTime, Skype, Zoom, or just a good old fashioned phone call.  We are also more than happy to meet with a trusted friend or relative that lives locally.

DO YOU TRAVEL FOR WEDDINGS?  WHAT IS THE ADDITIONAL COST?

The only thing we love more than being wedding photographers is being well traveled wedding photographers! We do not charge for travel within the continental United States, but we do kindly request accommodations the night before and the night of your wedding or any events you would like us in town to shoot.

HOW DO I RESERVE YOU FOR MY DATE?

To reserve your date we require a 33% deposit and a signed contract (for your convenience this can be done electronically through your Honeybook portal)

WILL MY WEDDING BE THE ONLY WEDDING ON MY DATE?

Yes.  Once we commit to you and your wedding date, that date will be blacked out to future couples.

ARE WE EXPECTED TO TIP OUR PHOTOGRAPHER?

While this is never an expectation, it is always greatly appreciated.  If you find you were very happy with your experience, in lieu of a tip please consider leaving reviews as they are invaluable in helping us grow!

IS THERE AN ADDITIONAL FEE IF WE PAY VIA CREDIT CARD?

Yes.  There is a 3.5% processing fee for paying via credit card.  

IF WE CANCEL OUR WEDDING WILL WE RECEIVE OUR DEPOSIT BACK?

Unfortunately you will not receive your deposit back.  Your deposit reserves that date and we do not accept new couples for that date.

IF WE CHANGE OUR WEDDING TO A DIFFERENT DATE, WILL WE BE ABLE TO USE OUR DEPOSIT TOWARDS THE NEW DATE?

Generally no, but this is taken on a case by case basis. The reason for canceling and our availability is taken into account. Also, if rates change from your original date to your new date, the new rates will apply.

IF I PAY FOR MY PACKAGE BY CHECK OR CASH, WILL WE BE ABLE TO AVOID PAYING SALES TAX OR WILL WE RECEIVE A DISCOUNT?

Unfortunately, collecting in cash does not exempt a photography studio from paying Georgia sales tax on the amount of the package price when a physical product is delivered, whether that product be an album or any other physical product. However, we can remove the 3.5% credit card processing fee.
